IPod battery check?

Hey all, is there any accessible way to check the battery on the IPod?

I wish this was a feature Anipod would include. Ya know, battery 30% full or something.

I'm not sure how it does it on other models, but I know that on the shuffle, theirs a battery check button you can press and it will flash a light to let you know how much is left.

if you get rock box installed on it., of course it will then read you the menus and there's a battery indicator there.

I have the nano 2nd gen. Is rockbox working with that one now?
